“Hi! I have a mattress for the lower bunk that measures 79 long x 60 wide. Will this mattress work with this bed?” asked by Edward

"Hello Edward. The dimensions you provided for the mattress you currently have seem like they are for a Queen size frame. The lower bunk on this bed will only accommodate a full size. While the dimensions of the frame are 78"x57" you also have to account for the width of the frame itself and space to allow for sheets and blankets to be tucked in. I would say that your mattress will be too large to fit into this bunk bed frame correctly."

My sons are extremely happy. I think every single penny worth it. Only issue I would say is that the top bunk bed is attached with the bottom one only by sliding wood--metal would be better option. The drawers do not attach to the bed frame, but a couple of simple metal brackets and a few screws from the hardware store solved this problem. Service Review My issue of not giving a five was that I live in Florida. The bed originated in Florida about five hous drive away. Then was shipped to Indiana, were it sat for a week then shipped back to Florida. It just delayed the delivery time and had more possibilities of breakage. Was this helpful? Yes / No

All hardware was compete but I thought the instructions could have been better. The holes did not line up and the slats that go under the bed were very poorly made. They were thinner in some areas and not very sturdy. The middle slat used on the upper bed broke when I reach across the mattress to put sheets on. I now have to go buy addtional support slats. I would recommend this to a friend, but I would definately let them know about the problems incurred. Based on that, they can make their own decision.
