The pole I received is a bit warped and bends outward towards the bottom but holds up nicely nonetheless. All the shelves and the drawer are great for storage and placing magazines, my laptop and a small plant. Stools are a great space saver, very sturdy and fit to a 'T' under the table. Took about 4 hours to assemble by myself, probably faster with help, but not difficult at all if youre DIY savvy. Besides the warped pole, it's absolutely great for the money, looks wonderful in my new kitchen and brings us all in to eat, sit and chat in our new favorite room of the house."..."Read more
Casual: Casual
dining sets are simple in
nature. They not feature carved
wood detail, decorated seat
backs, or modern looks.
Country / Farmhouse:
Most Country and
Farmhouse dining sets are made
of pine or oak, and the finish
is usually washed, rubbed, or
painted. Country collections
normally have simple lines with
little emphasis on decorative
details.
Modern / Contemporary:
These dining sets
feature very clean, simple
lines, angular designs, solid
colors, and often have a
futuristic look.
Transitional:
Transitional dining sets are a
blend of traditional and modern
elements that fit in with almost
any décor. They feature a
simple, angular look and edgy
construction materials, such as
glass and metal, as well as
classical lines and carved wood
details.
Traditional:
The most classic formal dining
sets are considered
traditional. A mixture of
rectangular or round, straight
and curved lines with carving
and decorative details.
Mission / Shaker:
Both Mission and
Shaker dining sets have clean
and simple designs, featuring
rectangular and rarely any
ornamentation. Oak is a popular
material for these styles.
Rustic / Lodge:
Calling to mind images of deep
forests and log cabins with
their rugged appearance, these
dining sets feature exposed and
rough woods, simple lines, with
worn, distressed or natural
finishes over woods such as
pine, ash or cedar.
Coastal / Tropical:
Perfect for an island
or beach themed dining room.
These dining sets are usually
constructed of wicker, rattan,
or wood with highlighted wood
finishes and hand painted
details.
Retro:
Reminiscent of old trends and
fashion from the 1960s and 1970s
and the way furniture was
designed at that time, retro
dining sets feature chrome
accents and curved metal
designs.
