Beware of some assembly required

I would still buy this unit because it is gorgeous! BUT you have to assemble the entire media unit which for the price I anticipated much less work. AND getting it assembled took much longer than a few minutes. The instructions are very limited and the drawings are not much help. There are several steps that need warnings about tightening the bolts too tight. There also needs to be an additional piece to keep the door closure area level once you put the television on the unit. The fireplace unit does slide in easily but that is the easiest step. You have to be intuitive and creative to get it put together but in the end it is a beutiful piece of furniture.
