Design Toscano Medieval Knight Iron Bookends

The good news is I bought them on sale at $25 and the shipping was prompt. The bad news - I don't think they are worth even that. I was not prepared to pay $42 for a pair of bookends, I thought $25 was fair since they are designed and made of iron BUT the backs are hollow, which means that whilst they are made of cast iron, they are no heavier than some resin bookends I have and was trying to replace for use with heavier books. Combine that with the fact that they are made in China - which means cheaper labour costs and bought in bulk AND I paid $20 for a pair of solid iron horses head bookends made here in the US (higher labour costs), I am underwhelmed.
