This product isn't industrial strength but excellent value for the price. The motors spins slowly but it is more than fast enough to make clean slices.

Very well metal built machine. Although at first I thought the motor was a bit slow , it proves at its set speed that it will slice anything. It slices thick and it slices so thin I would call it shear slice instead of thin. A great kitchen addition for the beginner to the pro and at a great price.

I bought this slicer to just make beef jerky using roasts. It does the job. I would not give it 5 stars because there is a lot of waste because of the guide not pressing the meat as tightly as I would have liked. Over all I got good slices. Would be good for veggies but I haven't tried it yet.

We were looking for a meat slicer that would thinly slice meat and cheese. We did not want to spend a lot of money, so this fit the bill quite well. It is very easy to use, and it will slice your meat deli thin if you want. We found that it sliced beef brisket and ham in uniform slices with very little effort on my part. My only complaint really is that it is difficult to clean. You have to be very careful when taking the blade off, and there is no way to sanitize it. I would not recommend it at all for raw meat. But for the price, you cannot beat it!
