Not as convenient as it might be; you must put the ice in one cube at a time. Then, the cruched ice isn't contained as well as I'd like, kind of messy. The finished product is nice, though, as the ice is very finely crushed.

Delivery was fast!

I've owned this ice crusher for 6 months and use it almost every day. I love finely crushed ice and this model delivers! I don't know why the other 2 reviews are so negative -- the crusher works very well.I feed chunks of ice from my refrigerator's icemaker into the hopper at a fast rate. I add the finely crushed ice to my blender to make amazing pineapple/mango smoothies because I prefer uniform ice crystals. I wholeheartedly recommend this ice crusher to those who love ice!

worked good for about a month does not work any more

My first ice crusher was manually operated. You put three to four ice cubes in the hopper and turned the crank and you got crushed ice. I could do a whole tray in less than a minute. This electric ice crusher takes one cube at a time. To complete a tray takes more than five minutes. A little too long when you need the ice now.
