Delonghi Two Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Maker - EC5

For the price it's not horrible, but as far as I can figure out it's only good for one cappuccino. I can't get the steamer part to work at all after I've already made the espresso. It heats up, spits out the water and that's it. I did get one good espresso. I'll try it again, just wish I could make a couple of them. Plus it is hard to get the cup in there to reach the spigot. spend the extra money if you can and get a better unit.

The design could be improved but can't beat the price. Great value for the type of machine. Takes a little to get used to the fit and turn for the part that holds the coffee grounds. Some parts can be improved, the 2-cup adapter is worthless, the glass carafe could be sturdier and the swivel jet frother could have been placed an inch further to allow room to maneuver. I wish I had known the machine was made in China, but what isn't nowadays? The coffee it makes tastes good, so I am using it almost every day, hope it lasts (had it for a couple of weeks)...

I am a coffee buff by any means but I do love my occasional latte, and this little gem does a great job!!! It is pretty easy to set up and use!! For the $$ it does a decent job!!

I was expecting more from this little machine. I guess maybe since I used to work at [...] I had my hopes up too high for this machine. I don't like that it doesn't come with a tamper for the grinds..I believe that would help with the bitter tasting espresso. Also, I don't like that I can only steam the milk at the same time that it's pouring shots. The milk did not get anywhere near the temperature it should be at to make a cappuccino. I was using cold milk but it didn't even get it warm. I also think it should come with shot glasses to pour the shots not a cup. It's definately not something I would recommend or purchase again.

The only con that I have on the product is that you have to brew espresso when using steamed milk which I wish that you didnt have to do.

Machine looks great but never having owned an espresso machine before it was very complicated to use. In fact I have only used it once because it took so long to produce 2 very small cups of coffee.Im sure with practice it would get quicker but really for the price I paid what else could you expect?! Did taste great though.

Weekdays I have my coffee at work. But my weekend I sip my lovely latte. This is a budget priced espresso machine that truly delivers. It makes a great espresso and the frothing unit takes no time to master.I am sure I will get years of use out of this machine, or until I have a spare 1000$ lying around for a barista model. It has the steam tube to heat milk so you can make Cappuccinos and it even comes with instructions on "How to make a perfect espresso" and "Making Cappuccino". This machine creates espresso and cappuccino so that you can enjoy gourmet coffee without ever having to leave your home. It is a little confusing to use the first time or two but the more you make with it the easier it becomes until it only takes you a minute to have brewed a delicious cup to enjoy. The clean-up is minimal and very easy to maintain. I would highly recommend this product if you enjoy places like Starbucks coffee because you can now create those same wonderful coffees in your own home using this machine. Great product at a great value through Wayfairs.
