Deeco Arizona Sands Fire Pit Table
Nice table, lousy packaging
Chris H. from Suburban Phila, PA– Verified Buyer
The table arrived as promised. Got off to a bad start: the inside packaging was a mess, everything, including the styrofoam, was all broken up and flung about willy-nilly, the various screws and washers were scattered throughout the box, it took an hour just to locate all the parts and make sure everything was there. Plus a few of the leg-mounts were bent. This appeared to have been an item returned by someone else and nobody paid attention to how it was packed up. We determined that all parts were present, however, and the bent parts would not affect functionality or aesthetics, and so we proceeded rather than try to repackage it. It went together relatively quickly, and it looks very nice. Have not burned logs in it yet. We like having the center part so that it's just a table, plus a screen for when we want a fire--many firepits don't have that versatility. Plus the rain cover is handy. Only thing I would recommend is some sort of drain hole in the bottom; we live in the woods, so when we have a fire we will have to douse it with water when we're done to ensure there is no danger of forest fire, and it would be helpful if there was a small drainage hole in the bottom--also when it rains if you forgot to put the rain cover on. But we are happy with the table. We like the slate appearance, it goes well with our slate patio.
Beautiful and functional

I love the idea of a fire pit - table hybrid and this one, inlaid with multicolored sandstone, is extremely beautiful.
Perfect for the Price
Connecticut Mom from Simsbury, CT
The table was just as described, and, though the packaging was less than perfect, it has ultimately proven to be a great purchase for our family. It was obvious that it was the manufacturer that did a poor job packing up the table (broken styrofoam and loose objects in the box, which marred some of the slate and the reason for 4 stars and not 5) but Wayfair handled my concerns quickly and reasonably. Set-up was very easy, and the size is perfect -- large enough to get a nice fire going, but small enough not to take up the entire sitting area of our patio. The "fill-in piece" is not exactly easy to lift out of the bottom when you would like to use it as a table, but we're really glad we have the option, especially during the day when it serves as a coffee table. I also like to keep it in place when the table is covered so that rain water doesn't fill the bowl and risk damaging the cover.

This is good value and a sturdy fire pit for the money. Comparably priced products looked flimsy. The ability to use it as a chat table is a real plus, and when using it as a fire pit, the table insert underneath makes a convenient place to rest your feet and keep them toasty.
Great product, terrible packaging

So far I love this firepit/coffee table. It's very attractive and sturdy. Assembly was straightforward; using a socket wrench made it much easier than using the tiny wrench provided with the product.
Great Fire Pit!

This fire pit is great. It looks nice and is great for building a small fire on the patio. I was also pretty easy to put together which is saying a lot from someone who can't even hang pictures!
Fire pit works well
Charles from Bowie, MD– Verified Buyer
The fire pit holds up well outside. The bowl may be filled with water after a rain (no drain holes).
a stylish and functional addition to our patio

We have used this as a table, cooler and fire pit and each has received positive feedback. the quality of the unit was better than expected for such an affordable unit.
Like the look
Karyn Bair from San Diego, CA
it fits beautifully in our yard and was not difficult to assemble; the lid knob in the center of the insert is too long and needs to be cut to fit the insert in well. We thought the screen would fit into the bottom where the insert sat, but it's too narrow. Agree that holes in the bottom will help with drainage.
Well Made Table
Doug Black from Mansfield, TX– Verified Buyer
The table is well made and we are enjoying having it on our patio. As it is July in Texas, we have not yet had a fire - maybe in January - but are looking forward to that use of it. The only problem is the top of the table is not flat as one side has a buckle in the slate. It is a heavy table, but quite sturdy.
