Daybeds

This is a very fine daybed but I did have one problem... I didn't consider mattress thickness when I bought the mattress in town while waiting for the daybed frame to arrive. The mattress I bought is very thick and plush with a padded top. The mattress in the picture that describes the product must be, at the most, four or five inches thick. The one I bought is, I don't know, about twelve inches (or more) thick. So, when I set it in the frame... the arms and back of the bed frame mostly disappear. Kind of a problem when the whole purpose is for the bed to act as more of a couch during the day and only as a bed if I have a guest. At this point, I might as well just have a small iron bed frame under the bed as I don't really see much of the wooden frame. A simple solution is to just make sure you buy a suitable mattress in the first place. It is a very nice looking daybed otherwise, and quite solid and easy to assemble."..."  Read more

A perfect match with our Dark Oak Mission office furniture and perfect as a spare bed. A perfect fit in the limited space we have. I'm a little concerned about reviews on the spring suspension deck! Also purchased the Cheerokee cover and that is another perfect match to our area rug. Thank you Wayfair. The customer service was excellent with Wayfair, Hillsdale and Fed Ex. This bed was everything I expected. The frame construction, and stain was beautiful and solid. The mattress that came with the bed was a little on the flat side, but it was free, firm, and had an innerspring system. My sister visited for the holidays and slept quite well the whole week she was her. The bed was missing a needed washer for the frame which would have been a major issue had I not had one in my tool chest. They really should think about sending some extra washers and bolts for a chase such as that. However, all and all the build went smooth. I had it assembled in about 40 minutes using my own set of ratcheting Allen wrenches."..."  Read more

This bed is great for our toddler daughter. Its stronger and larger than a "toddler bed" and can hold child and parent comfortably during story time. I searched for the exact same bed among many other websites and Wayfair had the best deal. Its not super fancy or frilly so in the future it can be used for a toddler boy. we're very happy with it and would buy from Wayfair again."..."  Read more
