I was concerned because washing instructions said - "Do not wash in washer." After several months in high traffic areas - kitchen and bathroom - I washed on LOW and COOL water and air dried. They do slip around a lot but I knew they would since they do not have a non-slip bottom. I put down some rug mats that have kept them in place and have not had any other problems. I haven't tried to clean them yet to see how that goes but the look they will hold up pretty well.
