It's perfectly sized and stays in place while protecting the wood floor. I was undecided about the pattern--- a series of thin multi color strips. However, this is what I like most about it as it blends perfectly with the contemporary high end finishes of the kitchen adding just the right punch of color to an otherwise monochromatic space. So far I have not had any problems keeping it clean as it is easy to wipe. Was this helpful? Yes / No
