Dash and Albert Rugs Woven Blue Awning Stripe Cotton Contemporary Rug - RP37

I put my new rug in the kitchen and have spilled on it a few times. I want to wash it on the handwash cycle in my front load washer, lay flat to dry. Is this recommended? Oxy Deep for carpets works great but not all blueberry stains are removed and I hate to have to move it out of the kitchen. What do you think? I hope to hear from you.

The rug is perfect (with a sturdy under-pad) for our beach house. Because it is reversible, we can use it one way during kids' vacations and flip it for grown-ups' events. WELL WORTH the effort!!

bought this for a tiny Florida beach house/ guest house. The 8'x10 fills the room & gives it a comfy/cozy beachy feel. I bought a thick pad for underneath because the rug is thin (as expected.). I'm thinking I'll just sweep the sand out the door. Very pleased with the look. Haven't had enough wear yet to determine how easy or difficult it'll be to clean. Overall a good purchase for the price.
