The pattern is a dark tan or light brown with a slight outline of light tan/green, and then just a bit of white. It's a beautiful rug and so far seems very durable. If you're looking for plush, this is not it, but it's soft enough. The rug is a fabulous addition to my new family room! LOVE the Dash and Albert line. Service Review Fast, effective delivery! We don't use a pad so it's not very cushiony which is fine with us. I wish there was a fringe on the ends to dress it up a bit but since we don't mind the room looking casual since our kids (age 1-9) play there then it's not a huge deal. Overall happy w/ it.
