Perfect for high-traffic areas, these rugs require little maintenance and have a durable construction to assure longevity. Each rug is finished with a cotton canvas backing, attached with latex. To ensure safety and prevent slipping, we recommend you use a Rug Pad with all rugs, regardless of the type of flooring they are used on. Regular vacuuming and the occasional gentle shake should keep your rug in shipshape condition, though hooked area rugs may require occasional minor grooming to stay looking their best. From time to time, as a hooked rug settles, a stray loop of yarn may pop up. This is perfectly normal. Do not pull the loop; simply trim it with scissors. Our wool micro-hooked area rugs naturally lose a bit of fuzz; simply fetch a vacuum and groom away. For all wool rugs, we recommend professional cleaning only.
