I am happy with these shelves. I purchased 6 of them and they all came in great condition. They seem sturdy, and don’t slope down. A couple of them seem to slope a little upwards actually… not by much though and i think its possible over time they will likely fall more flat. I did drill a hole in a few of the metal brackets so they could be attached to wood beams. I also purchased my own hardware, just to be sure I was using good sturdy hardware. Well, I didn’t read the QA’s on these shelves or I would have seen that they are faux wood. And they are hollow. The black finish is a plastic type coating - no wood grain. I had to change where I planned to use them as I think they look a bit on the cheap side for my family room. I would be hesitant to display anything really heavy. I think they will be ok in a bathroom for storage of lightweight items. I do like the mounting mechanism and the fact that all the screws and anchors are included.
