Danby doesn't stand behind their product. We purchased a new on three years ago. That one lasted less than one year. We had to wrap and ship the unit back [...] The replacement usit lasted less than 2 years and the compressor went. Service cost to fix exceeded price of unit. Even though we had two units in less than three years the company wouldn't stand behind their product. Don't buy from Danby

Tight squeeze to get 51 full sized bottles in; but it's close. Nice design, great appearance. A little loud when the compressor kicks in. Overall satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others.

The major design flaw is in the shelves. We just completed our renovation and installed the wine refrigerator in our media room. The shelves are too close together and it does not open easily because it hits the wine bottles below.

I was hesitant to purchase a wine cooler over the internet. I did my research and found this one to be the most attractive, while having the features we wanted. This unit has a smooth handle, so while you are walking by, your purse, your pants, your skirt doesn't get caught around the handle. Seemingly a small thing, but is quite annoying, when you have handles that protrude out. It has dual temps for red and white...another must have. Keeps everything right where it should be. The drawers extend halfway out. No problem there. It is counter height. It just needs the two or so inches behind it for air circulation. So it fits in seamlessly next to our kitchen cabinets. I LOVE the LED lights. I couldn't find another wine cooler that had that feature. It looks so sleek, when the lights are on. They automatically come on, when you open the door. They go off when you shut it. But, there is also a button to press to keep it on all the time. We usually do this, when we have company. It's just a huge eye-catching bonus to this model. I like that the ends of all the drawers are stainless, instead of the typical wood drawers. The best and one of the most important feature is noise level. Seriously, you don't even know the thing is on. It's quiet, gorgeous,and keeps your wine at the correct temps...what more could you want. It's a jewel for your kitchen, whether it's contemporary, traditional or modern...this one fits right in! highly recommend.
