Cool Look Great focused lighting

Takes up minimal space, operates independently, and adjustable to a point. You need to set the gooseneck light at a place on the cable that is relatively centered or the cable bows, somewhat. Would not recommend this for over a king size be - not side enough therefore, I used it in another bedroom and found something else for the king size. Wish it had the span, but happy with it. Tricky to mount need handy hubby and patience in spite of the supplied template.
Nice lamp, with some problems

The fixture itself produces good light, and has an overall good build quality. Components are well-finished, accurate, and fit together well. The switches are of excellent quality. The fixture looks classy when it's installed. However, there are problems, too. The drilling template was not accurate for laying out the holes in the wall: when the canopy was hung, the horizontal arms lay below the hole positions suggested by the template. I think the template was drawn from the centers of the holes, but when the canopy is hung, it rests on its mounting screws at the top of the keyholes cut into the canopy base, dropping the level of the canopy by a half inch or so below the hole center. Don't drill holes for the horizontal arms using the template! Unfortunately, getting the holes in the correct place was fussy, and a big pain. Using a level to get the arms right and marking the correct positions for the holes still required assembling disassembling the canopy and taking down and replacing the fixture 3 times to get the job done right. Finally, the plastic wall anchors are not well-sized to the supplied screws they're for larger screws, and don't give the supplied screws a good grip. Because there is significant torque applied by the extended lamp heads, my bet is that I'll be cursing and re-doing the job a second time 2 years from now. Finally, because of the torque applied by the lamp heads, the heads distort the 12-volt connector bars if the heads are placed any place except close to the screwed-down support pieces at the ends or the middle of the bar. In particular, placing the heads in the position shown in the photo will result in the 12-volt bars being twisting into noticible and unpleasant arcs. I keep the lamp bases snugged up against the solidly-mounted end caps, and use the goose necks to position the lamp heads appropriately. My summary of the whole thing is too much design not enough engineering.
