PandaMom from Schenectady, NY	4.0 12/19/2011 Great crib! We have the DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 for our daughter, so choosing this crib for our son was a no-brainer. We only switched from Kalani to Porter because the wide center bands on the Porter crib seemed slightly more masculine to me. These cribs are wonderful, and consistently have some of the highest reviews for their price range. They are versatile, strong, and hold up to our monkey children. Our DD is currently using hers as a toddler bed, and it has been great for 2.5 yrs. The ONLY wish I have is that the wood werent so soft. The cribs and the dressers mar fairly easily. They are still great, but scratches show a lot, especially with the dark colors like the Espresso and Cherry. That is my only reason for not giving 5 stars. Was this helpful? Yes / No
angela from MIRA LOMA, CA	2.0 12/19/2011 Somewhat disappointed Product Review The crib is beautiful once put together, however, the wood easily cracks and scraches as youre building the bed, which takes away from the finished product once its standing. Unless, however, the damage is in an area that cant be seen. I can tell its cheap wood and the overlay coating makes the bed look like its expensive wood. It was priced much to high for the type of materials youre company used to manufacture this bed. That is very disappointing and I dont plan to purchase any additional items.
