About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. Picture looks great, it looks OK in actual, but anyone can tell that they used cheap materials.For the crib and the dresser, I paid $548, I think $350 is fair price. The bottom of the drawers is essentially a thick cardboard so it's pretty flimsy. I bought other pieces from this collection that were much better. This dresser seems to be the dud of the group. Yes it does have a cheaper particle board back, but who will see the back I think for the price its pretty good- sure it wont stad up if your kids are rough on furniture- but who would allow there kids wreck stuff It matches the crib and change table perfectly!
