About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:

Need better directions for assembly

directions for assembly were "fair" but were at times difficult to follow for easy assembly - had to re-assemble a few pieces here or there for best results. Enjoy the design and durability of the product overall. The shelves could have a little better support- they are just sitting on pegs...

The product looks great. As far as the quality of the wood is concerned, it isn't as sturdy feeling as hardwood would feel like. It's pine, so expect that when you purchase this item. Other than that though, it looks great.

Changer looks nice and seems relatively sturdy, but all walls are made of particle board not wood so therefore doubt the durability over time but the piece does look nice and it's at least not MDF. I would definitely prefer an all wood piece but for the price it's a great compromise.

While this piece looks nice from afar, it is not very well constructed and scratches. I specifically bought this piece so that it could be used after infant stage as a normal piece of furniture (not only as a changing table) but they used particle board on the top, so it is not something I would showcase without the changing pad on top. The other thing is that it's more narrow than standard changing tables, so a standard changing pad won't fit on it, and the one it comes with is very thin and flimsy.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture for the price but it was difficult to assemble. It scratches very easily. Would send it back except it took so long to assemble. I can see in a few years it will be all scratched. Not good for a child's room. You get what you pay for. Sorry we didn't go for the more expensive set.

I like this changing table a lot. It will be very useful while I am actually needing it to change my baby on and then when he is older, will be a great TV stand. The directions, however, were some what confusing and were not very effective in getting the thing together. You definitely need 2 people to do it because there is a lot of times where some one has to hold it while the other person assembles. Perhaps that is why on mine, the doors are a little off....
