About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

I did find the instructions a little amiss in where the frame attaches to the base slats. It was easy enough, and its very cute. The only thing missing in my opinion is that there are no screw hole covers provided - so you can see the bolts, little white wooden caps would have completed it nicely. Was this helpful? Yes / No
