About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

Cheap materials When I had read other reviews, I was so excited to order this dresser. When we took all of the pieces out of the box, our first issue was that we had a crack in the side panel. We were in a time crunch to get our nursery ready for the baby so we knew we weren't packing it back up and sending it back. Then we started looking at the quality of the support wood. It's very soft and does not hold the screws well. Overall, I am not happy with the quality. Ikea furniture is Made MUCH better and will not be purchasing this brand again. |

Great dresser Drawers glide smoothly and piece doesn't have that "cardboardy" feel you get with most assemble yourself products. Very sturdy and heavy duty dresser. |

Nice Product Review Nice solid piece for a nursery. Doesnt have any sort of fancy details so as my girl gets older Im sure well invest in a better piece of furniture but its good for a nursery and for a very young girlboy. Service Review Ordering was fast and easy and it arrived quite quickly. Only bad thing, it was delivered on a day i was not home and it was raining. the delivery person left the box outside in the rain and i was quite upset as the piece could have been damaged. |

Great piece of furniture for the price It was a little difficult to assemble, but it looked and functioned beautifully when completed. We ordered it for our baby girls room and it matched our other cherry furniture nicely. |

Great dresser! Easy to put together. Just need a little patience to go thru the instruction manual. Parts fits well. |

Good product, VERY bad instructions! The quality of this product is very good. It arrived promptly and in undamaged condition. However, I am compelled to write a review because the assembly instructions are really ridiculously bad, the very worst I have ever seen in any piece of furniture. The are no stickers to identify which pieces are right and left, or top or bottom, for example, and the "bare-bones" drawings fail to include enough detail for you to even discern whether you are using the correct piece or assembling the part correctly. As a result, it is very easy to build and then realize in a later step that your "50-50" guess on a part was wrong, and then need to break a portion back down, and do it over again. It would really not be that hard for the manufacturer to provide legible, intelligible assembly instructions. |

[...] Product Review GREAT DRESSER!! It's a little shorter than I expected height wise (didn't really look at dimensions when we bought it) but it's a great dresser for an infant/toddler and they will eventually be able to reach their belongings when they are tall enough! Directions were a little poor to follow for assembly, but not too hard to figure out. Overall we are happy with this purchase. My sister has the same set and she's loved it as well! Service Review Prompt delivery however when my husband opened the box and got to some of the middle pieces, one of the supporting frames was broken. Instead of packing it back up and being charged shipping and restocking fees he just repaired it with a few wood screws. |

Happy with product so far.... We have a new baby coming and bought this dresser to match our Da Vinci crib. It was a pain for my husband to put together, missing a couple small parts, but he had what we needed and once it was assembled it is a beautiful piece of furniture that will hopefully last us for years! |
