About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. Alison from Lexington, SC	4.0 4/29/2013 Fast, but the box was pretty beat up. Our combo dresser came very fast! The small drawer board (base of the drawer) was broken and the dresser had a few dents. Fortunately, the dents are on the inside of the pieces so they can't be seen. We have been in touch with DaVinci for a replacement board. It arrived on time without a mark on it. It took a little while to put together, but I was taking my time. The only disappointing thing is they came out with a hutch to fit this dresser, but it doesnt come in ebony. Hopefully it will become available at some point. Was this helpful? Yes / No
