About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

Lightweight and well built The only negative to the product is that sometimes the pin that disables the swinging motion comes out, and the cradle will lean to one side. Other than that, our baby seems to really like it, and it is very easy to move and very well built. |

Love it!! I love it, the design is modern and not frou-frou like most bassinets. Rocking comes in handy for the newbies. But the one thing that's annoying is that the pin that keeps from rocking easliy comes out. The mattress it comes with is very thin I added my own extra padding to it. |
