About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

Love It I t was just the right size for the living room. The baby has place to rest when the parent watch TV. Love the color of the wood and it match her baby furniture. |

could have been better Very pretty. Easy to assemble. Rocks well. Stabilizer pin falls out easily and frequently. Takes large bassinet sheet...forgot to tell us that one. Baby likes it. When it rocks however, upright bars wiggle back and forth with no way to keep them sturdy. Next time I would recommend an old fashion bassinet or sleep in the same room with the crib |

A great interim bed for a newborn My son and his wife are using the cradle as an interim solution until they move to a larger place and have room for a crib. This has been a great solution to the space problem. She will be about 4 months old when she transfers to a larger bed. |
