I am planning on using this piece just like a regular dresser and removing the changing pad when he is done with diapers all together. It is a beautiful piece and is great for his small room. mumeee from big D	5.0 5/30/2011 superb quality i am very impressed with the quality of the product. solid, beautiful, functional. the best example of it's sturdiness is the fact that the back of the dresser is a most heavy solid piece of thick particle board. (usually, i've found these types of products are backed by a flimsy thin piece of cardboard.) i only wish the bottom of the drawers were made of solid wood. but they do the job, and the drawers glide smoothly.
