Suitable for newborns, toddlers, and youth, the Emily Convertible Crib can convert from a crib to a toddler bed to a daybed to a full-sized bed. The mattress spring system adjusts to four different levels, allowing the crib to last through your infant's growth. The Daybed Conversion Rail Kit is a very simple and cost effective solution to transition your child's crib to youth bed.

Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. "Hi Michelle, The item does come with a toddler bed conversion kit. The toddler bed is the same size as the crib but instead of a full side rail it only goes half way to allow the child to get in and out on their own. It can be made in to a full side bed when the optional bed rails are purchased."

I also like the fact that it converts both to a toddler bed and ultimately to a full size bed. The only downside of this flexibility is that there are a lot of holes where screws for the other options will go. Its not a huge deal, but I would prefer that the screw holes were better hidden. I've never written a customer review before but after recieving this product promised my husband I would. This crib is beautiful, it looks like we spent $500! It's very sturdy (we're having a boy so this was a concern)and came without a scratch. I'd read a review that said it was hard to put together but it took my husband about 35 minutes, max. It was super easy to assemble, probably took us about 45 minutes and it is beautiful. Of course, it's not the hardest of woods, but we knew that, and it seems it will be easy to "touch up" should anything get nicked. It came in perfect condition, no scratches or anything and all pieces were in place. At this point, I would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful crib to anyone! It's a GREAT deal!
