DaVinci Crib Sets

Overall it's a great crib. Couple issues. Scratches easily and hard to assemble. Assembly instructions are not the best. I purchased the crib bedding set (not through Wayfair) then purchased the crib. HUGE MISTAKE! I was able to use the crib skirt and sheets that come in the crib set. Wasn't able to fit the bumper. I was kind of glad because I later found out using a bumper in a baby's crib is a NO, NO due to suffocation. Would I buy crib again? Probably, good for the money."..."  Read more

We bought this crib and changing table to match a bedroom set we already had with 2 large dressers, nightstand and full size bed. We were pleased with the stain-it matched perfectly! My husband and I assembled the crib in one evening after dinner, and the changing table in an afternoon. Having an extra set of Allen wrenches was a plus! Crib directions were good; changing table required a bit of interpretation and fudging, if you will. One of the pieces of the changing table was warped, but we were able to work with it, and it was on the back, so no one can see it. Other reviewers had mentioned concern about the sturdiness and stability of the table for heavier babies, but we had no reservations. The wood does scratch easily, which is our only complaint. In all, we're pleased with the crib and changing table. The price was right, compared to the exorbitant cost for "designer" nursery sets! After spending over $ 3000.00 on our first grandchild's furniture at a local "fancy" store and finding now that the baby was able to bite into the crib leaving tooth marks, we decided that the next baby furniture we purchase we would spend a lot less $$. We were NOT disappointed with the quality of this furniture and wish we had purchased from Wayfair the first time around. Wayfair is our new stomping ground. This is a good crib for the price. I was looking for a decent crib that was convertable. It is not the best of the best, but if you are looking for a decent, stylish crib, and do not want to spend a fortune, than this crib is the crib for you. I can see how it can scratch easily, but I have not had a problem yet. Just be careful when putting it together that you don't bang the boards together. I don't have a mobile for it, but I tried to hang the baby einstein fish aquarium and it only fits on the side, not the front because the rail is too wide. If you do want this crib the Homedics lulliby sound spa is great. (plays music and project on the cealing) I also got the 4 drawer dresser and it is cheaply made. You can tell the drawers are not very sturdy. You can rock them back and forth when they are open, and they didn't use the best glides, but I am not going to be standing in them like at P.M bedroom gallery (hopefuly my daughter doesnt get any ideas). The top of the dresser has some scratches on it-more like rub marks that did not go through the paint. My daughter is 4 months old, so we will see how these stand up through the years. Also I love how the black looks, but I have to dust it contantly because it shows the dust really well. That is with any black color though. I prob would not by the Jayden drawers again because I think they are a bit cheaply made, but the crib I would buy again."..."  Read more
