This is a set of two solar lanterns that came right away. Came nicely packaged , no signs of damage to the outsides of the box. Once opened, very easy to put together and get started. I actually put them in the front of my house and hooked them onto to Dollar tree hooks that stake right in the ground. I put them out in the early part of the day and by nightfall they had already turned on. They do look like bright orange flames that flicker. The lanterns themselves appear to be a cheap plastic and I don’t anticipate that they will last real long, especially once we hit rainy, season and storms, but for the meantime, they are cute and help to light up the yard at night.. Bought this lamp on an open box sale simply because I really wanted it and it was sold out otherwise. The lamp had a crack in the base and one of the spokes in the drum shade was broken so I wouldn’t recommend buying open box due to quality control, also open box is not returnable. Love this! I love that it's made out of thick plastic because then you can keep it outside without worrying about it getting rusty. I can't tell you how many metal ones I have gotten rid of because of that. This lantern is well made, nice color gray that can go with any decor in your home. It would look great near a fireplace. It takes 3 "D" batteries, great height, and you can set the candles on a timer or leave them on for the amount of time you want. The candles let off a good amount of light to be used as a night light in a hallway when guests come, so they don't get hurt. Once you get this home, you will love it and look for places to put it.
