Had I not had a 75 credit and 10 off coupon from a previous unhappy experience with Wayfair, I could not have afforded this cutting board. But, because I have long wanted a good Boos board and could get it almost for free with their offers, I went for it. It is all that I thought it would be stable, solid, substantial, beautiful, and just a joy to use. The only thing I would caution on is the amount of oil the new board will soak up. Whew! Mine used about 12 oz before I could start using the board. An extra expense for an expensive board, but if you can afford it I highly recommend it. With proper care youll be set for years to come."..."  Read more

I received these cutting boards to review on a blog. I like both of the sizes: the small board is handy for just chopping an apple, a few veggies, etc. The larger board is great for larger chopping needs. The smell of the boards when removing the plastic wrap is off-putting, but I believe that is common in bamboo boards. Washing with warm soapy water helped, and I'm sure the smell will fade more and more with each washing."..."  Read more

This is a nice cutting board. I particularly like the handles that are inset on each side of the board. They make it much easier to pick it up. I followed the instructions for oiling it when I got it and it's been nice to use and easy to cleanup. I don't handle any raw meat on this board - i just don't feel comfortable doing so. I prefer plastic cutting boards for raw meat."..."  Read more
