It's large dimension even allows cutting watermelon. I find it easy to wash and maintain and it is quite durable. We received a promotional gift certificate from Wayfairs and ordered this bamboo cutting board to use for everyday chopping and slicing - vegetables, breads, etc. It's the perfect size - plenty of room, but not so big as to be inconvenient to store and use or to clean. The board is gorgeous, and, after several uses, the butcher-block style still looks like new - not a single cut mark. This cutting board is a bargain. It is well crafted, solid, and perfect size. I use it to chop vegetables, prepare soup, and cut meats. The board remains stable on the surface it is placed on.
