I bought this marble cutting board mainly so I could make cream candy for my dad who will turn 85 this week and was reminiscing about the cream candy his mother used to make. He said it has to be a marble board because the candy will stick to any other kind of surface. I haven't made the candy yet (planning to do it today), but I have used this cutting board for other things since I got it, and just love it! It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter and looks very attractive with my kitchen decor.
