A real work of craftsmanship. My bialleti moka pot had a tendency to leak around the threads, but the Cuisinox pot feels like a precision instrument. VERY heavy pot. I like stainless, aluminum pots get a weird and unhealthy seeming corrosion. I know stainless is safe for foods. Coffee is comparable to any moka pot...not a full-fledged espresso but very close. Reducer is handy for small amounts. Spare O-ring is nice to have. It is a little slower than similar moka pots, I think because it is such dense stainless steel that it takes time to warm up.

It works as well as I had hoped it would. I looked around for a while before purchasing this model, and I'm glad I paid a little more than I had originally planned. The only thing to note is that the espresso seems to come out a little weaker than at a coffee shop. I just got it, so I'm still experimenting with the grind and everything, but it's so close that I'm confident that I will get it just right before long.
