A very good appliance to have on hand. It's easy to puree a batch of soup straight in the pot, and thanks to the height you can puree in any pot. You do need enough liquid for the blender to puree properly without sticking. I liked the cup that came with the unit. It's easy to make individual smoothies. Clean up is a breeze thanks to the detachable bottom.

Great for fast protein drinks with frozen fruit

The benefit of any hand blender is the ability to bring the tool to the job, such as blending ingredients in a stock pot. The detatchable stainless steel shaft allows for easy cleaning and will not stain, as some plastic models do. It fits the hand nicely, and is not too long & cumbersome, as one top-rated competitive product is. There are no frills, such as a whisk or mini chopper and it is one speed operation.

This tool does its job perfectly, I just wish it had a holder.

I like this blender. Gets the job done

This is my first hand-held blender, and I love it. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and great for single-serving smoothies and for pureeing soups. Unlike the osterizer, the hand-held blender is a lot more portable, less cumbersome, and easier to clean since there are fewer parts.
