The only thing I have made so far is ice cream and it is fantastic. So easy to make. Yes, there was noise in the kitchen but not enough to stop me from using the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker again and again.

Yes, it does make noise and it is hard to get a little of the ice cream out from the inside barrel. But it is well worth the fun and enjoyment of fresh ice cream and frozen yogert!

Very simply put it does what it says it does. I read the reviews before purchasing and was a bit concerned about one that said it was overly noisy; I thought it was fine and a made less noise than a lot of other counter top appliances. Had to wing it with ingredients on the first try but the ice cream turned out fantastic. No more rushing home from the supermarket before the ice cream melts.

Today was my first time using the ice cream maker. My old one was an electric one using ice and salt. The recipe for chocolate mint ice cream that came with the Cuisinart was delicious. I have a chest freezer and I will just keep the freezing container in there so it's always ready to go. Otherwise one must plan ahead and have plenty of freezer space available. It's very easy to use but don't expect the ice cream to be completely frozen. Probably the only ones to do that are the old fashioned crank style ice cream freezers. I liked the ease and convience of this Cuisinart and the simplicity of the design.

Quick to make ice cream. Not completely impressed with the vanilla ice cream "recipe" that came in the included recipe book but will make again with different flavors or a different recipe. Kind of loud, but doesn't take long to complete a cycle, so not really a big deal. Very easy to use and clean up.

Quick and easy frozen deserts, drinks icee's ect. Easy to clean up also. I wish they sold extra freezing drums.

The ice cream is great. Just would like it to freeze a little bit harder. It is like soft serve ice cream, and melts very fast. It's great if you like soft ice cream.

We love the ice cream maker... We use it all the time. We keep the freezer bowl always in the freezer so its always ready to go. We really like making frozen yoguts. The ice cream maker comes with a recipe booklet but we like to add our own twists on them and so far they turn out better all the time. Would reccomend this product to anyone.

I've been wanting an ice cream maker for so long and I finally decided it was time to get one. Just in time for summer. I made vanilla ice cream and it came out perfect. It was fun making homemade sundaes with fresh vanilla ice cream. This maker is probably best for beginners in ice cream making. It is very simple to put together and clean. I've been told to make homemade ice cream can be messy but I had no mess at all. Very easy clean up and a great outcome!
