Cuisinart Grind and Brew 12 Cup Automatic Coffee Maker

This coffeemaker is fantastic! You just add the beans and water, set the timer and in the morning you have fresh ground coffee waiting for you! You can also turn off the grinder if you want to use a bag of grounds.

I am a coffee guru who loves coffee from the whole bean. For me, it is a great addition to my kitchen. It looks great, and works well. It also takes up less room then my regular coffee maker and the grinder. The biggest issue someone might have with this appliance is the internal parts that you have to clean daily. The grinder has to be removed, as well as the basket and the pot. My detached grinder can be used without cleaning, but this grinder has steam coming up from the coffee so the grounds will get wet and sticky. Therefore, I suggest taking it out between uses and cleaning or the grounds and some unground beans will get gummed up in the grinder. This is why I had to give it three stars. I love the concept but somehow, they have to find a way to keep the grinder from becoming wet. For some friends I would recommend, but for my friends who don't like fussy things or would hate the work keeping it up, I would not recommend.

My daughter and son in law love this. In fact I am thinking about buying one for my wife and I. They are very impressed with the quality and I know that the price was right!
