When Wayfair contaced me to do a review, I knew exactly what I wanted. I'd seen this exact fondue pot for more elsewhere and had wanted one for a long time so was thrilled by the price on Wayfair. [...] was as easy as 123 to unpack, set up, and use. Cleanup was a cinch and this is a welcome addition to my kitchen and entertaining!

We loved using this! What I really love about this pot is that you can heat it hot enough to cook meats and poultry. One night we decided to have a fondue dinner. We cut up chicken breasts and beef cubes and made a couple of side dishes to go along. It was so fun to cook right at the table!If you are worrying about young children and hot oil using this pot you do need to use caution as you would around anything hot. Adult supervision is always required of course! However, this fondue pot is very heavy and does not tip over easily. The pot itself is stainless steel and it is connected to the stand it is sitting on. The temperature probe has a magnetic connector that easily pulls off in the event of someone tripping over the cord or pulling on the cord. The magnet is strong enough to stay on the temperature probe and yet comes off easily enough in the event something like this should occur. With the variable temperature control you can easily heat oil, broth, cheeses, or chocolate! The only drawback with this fondue pot is that the cord is very short. If you want to use it at the table you will need an extension cord. The manufacturer does not recommend using one but we would have all had to stand at the counter to use the pot. Which was not appealing to us at all. We opted to use an extension cord and had no problems!**I recieved this item for [$] in return for my honest review.
