It's tall enough for most larger cans, runs quiet, has a good balance so as not to tip while opening a can, and looks nice! The cutter pops off for easy cleaning, it has a magnet to hold the top after it's cut off, and the lever for the cutter moves smoothly. For a basic can opener, it's really a nice one. I've used some that wanted to fall over, and sounded like gears were grinding, but this one is top of the line and will not disappoint you. The price is great as well! I'm glad I made this purchase!
