Great Grinder This is a really good grinder in the moderate price range. The grind works great for my Auto Drip and Cold Brew. The only negative thing I can say is it does make a lot of noise. |

Excellent Burr Grinder! For the money, I don't think you can beat this burr grinder. It's at least half the price of any other burr grinder on the market, does an excellent job and is very easy to use. Hardcore coffee drinkers may find flaws compared to other grinders 2-3X the price, but it definitely beats a simple blade grinder. Once you set up the amount of coffee and the type of grind you want, all you have to do is press the button, wait for it to grind and dump the coffee into your filter. Blade grinders require you to measure the beans, hold the button and count, tap out the coffee and even release the packed grounds from the bottom of the grinder. This saves a nice bit of time and mess in the morning. The only complaint I would have about this grinder is that it is pretty loud, but I don't know how it compares to more expensive grinders. I'll deal with the noise to save the time and mess. Plus the grinder looks very nice. |

Best grinder I've had yet! We've had a "blade grinder" and a small burr grinder and we were looking for an automatic one (ie: you don't have to hold the button constantly for the coffee to keep grinding). And since we already have a Cuisinart espresso machine we immediately looked into the Cuisinart Burr Grinder. Have not been disappointed! The grinder works beautifully, it's really quick (way quicker than the one we had before!), cleans up easily and the consistency of the grind is great. We'll see how well it holds up to the test of time but right now, it does the job perfectly. |

IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE, PLEASE READ !! If you own this grinder - please take the time to read through this! AS WITH THE PERSON BELOW, we unscrewed it and found that MOST of the PLASTIC HAD BEEN GROUND UP AND WE HAD BEEN DRINKING IT!!!!! NOT KIDDING. We loved this grinder. It (we thought) served us well for a year. It started acting strange when it would grind. It still would grind the beans, but would stop too soon. You need to unscrew the main thing and look at that plastic collar. (The person below saw that theirs had cracked.) Ours was completely CHEWED UP! AND IT WAS GROUND UP IN OUR COFFEE - WHICH WE HAD BEEN DRINKING FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG!!??! We found the tiny ground black plastic pieces in with the coffee. (That was unsettling.) You can see them when you hold the ground coffee under lighting. They "shine" compared to the coffee. Now we are shopping for a new one and it won't be Cuisinart. And it's too bad because we really liked this one and we like the brand. Don't buy one - and IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE, PLEASE UNSCREW AND CHECK THE "COLLAR". |
