Cooks much quicker than most recipes call for This seems to work well, but I've overcooked both the meals I've made in it because the cooking time called for in recipes is way too long. Not sure if the recipe or the cooker is to blame, but just know that you should either halve the cooking time or use low vs high or simmer vs low. |

Great product! I use this product for roasts and soups. It heats evenly, is convenient, and is the perfect size for those who don't want a huge crockpot. |

Only programmable small slow cooker I already have a big programmable slow cooker but now the kids have left home. Also sometimes I do all my cooking (soup + stew, for instance) the same day for a few days. So I needed another slow cooker. This one is even better that the one I already have. Easy to set and easy to clean. Love the included recipe book. Superior product. Excellent practical tips (not included with the other crockpot from another manufacturer, which I bought elsewhere). |

Crock Pot Cookware Surface Received the cookware prior to the holidays but went away. came back to use it and the surface on the bowl was not glazed properly. Waiting to use it after I get my replacement. Controls a nice, size is nice and perfect to cook for up to 4. |

Usage of my Cooker I cook crock pot meals for the two of us and some times an invited guess or two more. Getting the meal together and having it cook for the day, then having a great meal in the evening, allows for more time to enjoy. It is the perfect size, good performance and nice display and controls. I got my cooker just before the holidays, went away for a few weeks, and came back to use it. I was disappointed that the inside of the crock pot service was not completely glazed. Several spots were missing the glazing on the inside of the cookware. Had to order a new one and waiting for that to come. |

Best Slow Cooker for Small Families I love this slow cooker. It has a sleek, modern design that looks great on the counter. It has a "keep warm" setting so the slow cooker automatically switches to warm when it's done. What makes this one better is that it doesn't dry out the food. I chopped up two raw skinless, boneless chicken breasts for chicken and veggie soup and it didn't dry out the meat; the Rival Slower Cooker that switches to warm has a tendency to dry out the chicken. I have used this slow cooker a few times and the results have been fantastic. The oval shaped insert makes it perfect for a turkey breast or roast-if you are looking for a new slow cooker you want the oval shape instead of the round as certain cuts of meat may not fit in there. The only downside was that the item description says it comes with a retractable cord and that is not the case. Other than that, I absolutely love this product. |
