Works Great from El Cerrito, CA on 03/10/2015 – Verified Buyer
Had an old slow cooker from the 80's. Always burned stuff or food came out bland and watered down. Not so with this device. Perfect for two to three people. Very elegant looking, compact, matches our upgraded modern kitchen. Looks good on counter and does not take up very much space. Ceramic insert pulls out for hand washing. Have used it 4 times already and my dishes have come out great. I sear my meats before just to give some pleasing aesthetic appeal. The modern thermostat on this thing seems to keep anything from burning. Very nice. There is no "advanced" programming, which is fine for me. Less to break down. You can program the number of hours and the intensity of the heat. It will go to "warm" after your programmed interim has expired. It will remain on "warm" for 8 hours, and then shut down completely in the event you decide to fly to Europe for 14 days and forgot that your slow cooker was on. Great device for new empty nesters, DINKs, single people, and yes, even real cooks.

Best Slow Cooker for Small Families from Naperville, IL on 09/15/2009
I love this slow cooker. It has a sleek, modern design that looks great on the counter. It has a "keep warm" setting so the slow cooker automatically switches to warm when it's done. What makes this one better is that it doesn't dry out the food. I chopped up two raw skinless, boneless chicken breasts for chicken and veggie soup and it didn't dry out the meat; the Rival Slower Cooker that switches to warm has a tendency to dry out the chicken. I have used this slow cooker a few times and the results have been fantastic. The oval shaped insert makes it perfect for a turkey breast or roast-if you are looking for a new slow cooker you want the oval shape instead of the round as certain cuts of meat may not fit in there. The only downside was that the item description says it comes with a retractable cord and that is not the case. Other than that, I absolutely love this product.

Works well from Virginia on 05/06/2015 – Verified Buyer
It came and we tried it out right a way and it works well and it was well packaged. The cooker though on the bottom there are little holes that have little feet on them. One of them is missing. So it is not stable. We called Cuisinart to get the foot. We were told to call your company. Otherwise, it is a nice cooker. When we get the missing foot, I'll be even happier. Pros: works well, well packaged Cons: was missing a foot and so it isn't stable

Easy to use -- Programmable -- Great size! from Langhorne, PA on 01/06/2015 – Verified Buyer
Bought this as a second crock pot since I already own a very large one. This one is a good size too, but it is just what I needed. After having this one and using it a few times, I am ready to replace my larger one with a Cuisinart. The Cuisinart controls and programming is great!

Cooks much quicker than most recipes call for from Boston, MA on 04/02/2012 – Verified Buyer– Top 500 Reviewer
This seems to work well, but I've overcooked both the meals I've made in it because the cooking time called for in recipes is way too long. Not sure if the recipe or the cooker is to blame, but just know that you should either halve the cooking time or use low vs high or simmer vs low.
