As stated by other 5-star reviews, this product is of excellent quality, weight, functionality, and finish. To try to add something new: I (of course, like all others) worried about the doors rubbing on the bottom base or top counter when closed. This rubbing will surely wear off the finish in time, should yours rub. My experience: assembled the product the first time, tested one door = all good; smooth closure without rubbing. Tested the second door = rubbed the bottom edge. Attempted to check the hinge and that did not appear to be adjustable. Tried to pull up on the second/rubbing door a bit to see if this would work, to no avail. My advice: don't stop there and say "oh well" as some of the lower-star reviewers seem to have done. I completely disassembled that door, rebuilt it slowly, step-by-step, making sure the connections were as snug as possible, and tested it = all good. Not rubbing in the slightest with good clearance on the top and bottom. We've been using it for about a month now and are very happy with the piece.
good, but ...

the quality of the wood is nice, feels sturdy, not cheap. easy enough to install though I experienced a few hiccups. i'm a total novice at putting things together (it was actually my 1st time putting something this large together). I did it by myself, but i definitely could've used some help at a number of spots. the item arrives in 3 separate boxes. each itempanel comes individually wrapped and thankfully, there is still an inner box within the outer box (i say thankfully because 1 of the boxes had a large, DEEP CUT on it and it had actually gone thru both carton boxes, but luckily stopped at the styrofoam lining the inner box. the instructions are easy if you read 'em slowly and carefully follow. every panel is w a letter sticker so you can identify pieces correctly. i ordered the black one which smelled like it was freshly spray painted, so that needed a week or so to air out. as an average girl, I found putting the top part of the cabinet heavy, especially when you're trying to align holes and screws was worried i would crush my fingers, but I managed though not easy. i also needed help when it came time to hang the swinging doors to the cabinet (that was super hard to do by one's self...for me) also heavy and trying to align all 3 hinges. the reason for the 3 stars - 2 of the panels had noticeable scratches already on it. and on one of the scratches, it looked like someone spotted it and tried to cover it up w a black marker (no joke). the other issues I have is with the magnet to hold the cabinet doors closed. i'm not sure if the magnet just isn't strong enough or if it's the placement of the magnet (the pre-drilled holes could be too far back for the magnet to catch), but the doors aren't closing completely at all. additionally, 1 door managed to close when it was empty, but once I started adding the liquor, the weight seemed to suddenly not allow it to shut. also, on the other door (which wasn't closing even when empty), once I added liquor bottles, it scrapes a little at the bottom when I try to swing it shut. lastly, you can't open the top counter unless the cabinet doors are open because the hinges that allow it to open and close don't seem sturdy enough to hold the weight. so if i open it without the cabinets being open, it looks like it might fall or bend in, just doesn't seem secure. i wish it wasn't as bulky, or after seeing the completed product, I just wish it wasn't a swinging cabinet, but that's a personal preference after the matter. oh, and the glass holders hang my glasses at an angle instead of straight down and they weren't wide enough to hold my white wine glasses. The wine holder spots also weren't wide enough for some of my wine bottles and some of my wine bottles were too tall, so i had to play around w what wine bottles I can fit in there. not a horrible product, but just 'eh' for me and what i had hoped for and expected.

Easy instructions and well made materials. Color is accurate. One major con which is best fixed before completing the project. Stupidly, the wine glass holders are not wide enough to hold 3/4 of our glasses. The base will not fit between the slots by only an 1/8" or so. Best to check the spacing before screwing them on. If you're in the same boat, you'll need to tap a different set of holes to space them a bit farther. Do this before. If you find out after, it'll be a bit of a pain to fix. Also, the unit stores more than I thought it would, although the top two door shelves are not capable of holding standard whiskey bottles, they are too tall for the shelves. All in all, 5 stars for the price and free shipping. Speaking of shipping, they boxes are overpacked to no end. All pieces arrived in perfect condition.

I purchased this cabinet in anticipation of a holiday event that I was holding in my home. As the only one in my household, it took me approximately four to five hours to put together and really I didn't encounter any issues. All instructions were clear and concise with good graphics and well labeled descriptors. I will say, it is EXTREMELY beneficial to read the entire instruction book first, and lay all parts out alphabetically along with inventorying and grouping hardware - no surprises before you begin. Put together, the cabinet is beautiful and seems very solid. The only manufacturer "error" I encountered was with the middle vertical interior piece (the pre-drilled cam holes were stripped); however, no intervention was required as it attached to the ouside walls through the shelves, top, bottom, etc. and was solidly in place by the end of assembly. I do agree with other reviews - the stemware "racks" are useless - unless you have extremely skinny feet on your stemware, don't bother installing them. For me, the only thing that would have fit were my champagne flutes - this wasn't an issue, as I already had storage for my stemware so the shelves are free for more bottles and accessories. Further, the wine bottle racks are easily removable (they slide in and out) so if you have wine storage somewhere else (I have a dual-zone refrigerator for my whites and reds), you can use that space for more liquor as well. Overall, an excellent purchase that I would most highly recommend.
Tons of storage

This bar cabinet stores almost all of our bar glassware as well as liquor, wine, cocktail shakers and other bar accessories. We have decided to leave it open for now and always have the option to close it up. It's a great space saver and looks and feels sturdy and like it cost a lot more than it did. It took almost 3 hours to put together and there was no damage to the piece as it was packaged well. My only real complaint is that the doors need to be open to support the weight of the expandable bar top, otherwise they sag. It also means that if you plan on opening and closing the doors a lot, while also using the expandable bar, you can't really store anything on top.
great price but assembly is time-consuming

This same piece is sold elsewhere for a lot more money, so I was excited when I found it on Wayfair. The cabinet arrived pretty quickly, in 3 separate boxes. My husband put it together over a period of many hours. I think if 2 people worked together, it could be assembled more quickly. The finish of the cabinet is very attractive, although there was one piece that arrived damaged, where the finish is chipped off of the top corner of the right side. Unfortunately, my husband assembled while I was out and didn't think to call Wayfair to ask for a replacement; he just assembled it as it was. By the time I got home to see the damaged piece, he'd already attached it to the other parts and we couldn't disassemble to send it back for a replacement. It's not super-sturdy (the pegs on the door shelves keep popping out of the side of the door), but that could be user assembly error. Compared to competitors' prices it was a good find; I just wish we hadn't received a damaged piece of material and that it was more sturdy. Better yet, I wish it could've shipped assembled!

Arrived quickly just in time for holiday parties. Came in two separate boxes. The sheer volume of pieces seemed overwhelming at first, but my wife and I assembled it in a fairly short amount of time. The two fold out tops are quite heavy so it's good to have a second set of hands with those. Only issue we've had is that the left door has sagged or leaned in toward the center and now drags against the bottom of the cabinet scraping off the finish when shutting the door. I haven't found a way to fix it at this point. All hinges/screws are tight so I'm not sure what's caused this issue.

Someone was supposed to assemble this unit but never showed up. I decided to do it myself. Except for help with lifting the heaviest pieces I completed the job in about 6 hours over 2 days. I am a 76 year old female with Osteo and second stage of emphysema. I also get a lot of muscle spasms which impedes my progress. Hence the 2 days. The instructions were easy to follow and I really like the unit. Except for a few scratches, some yours, some mine, the only thing wrong is that the knobs are not aligned properly. Marlene
Great looking Wine Bar at a fair price

Received the item in three boxes, two large and one small for the legs. The parts were packaged well within another box. I only noticed very slight damage to one of the pieces within the package. I was able to arrange for a replacement piece through customer assistance. They were very helpful! Pros - Great build quality, good fit and finish, looks great and at a fair price Cons - Slight damage found to one of the top panels (replaced promptly by service) I would re-order from this manufacturer again in the future and would recommend them.
Great, sturdy piece

This is a great addition to our lounge. It is very sturdy, and has ample storage space. My husband assembled it in a few hours it seemed daunting at first, but was well worth it. It was packaged well, so that even though there was a rip in the package during shipping, there was no damage to the wood. The only 2 issues are minor: 1.) I have so much stored on the doors, that the magnets don't work well when closed. We will just purchase some heavier duty magnets. 2.) A pair of my wine glasses do not fit in the hanging area for glasses, because their base is too large in diameter. Again, minor, given the quality, usefulness and value of this piece.
