Overall, I love this unit. It looks good and once you have it together it's sturdy and nice and functional. I was shipped the wrong top originally, but they quickly and easily fixed the problem and sent me a new one. However, a couple cautions: 1: For one person, it's a 3+ hour job to assemble. 2: Drawer construction is shoddy. Using a power screwdriver I cracked one drawer back. On the other, the little tacks holding the block you mount the sides onto fell out. I could fix it myself, but that's not what I expect when I spend $500 on a piece of furniture. 3: The cam locks...not sure what the deal is. Maybe the holes are not deep enough, but you have to torque them HARD to get them to lock on this unit. 4: Make darn sure you put the doors on with the correct side up, because once they are on, there is no way to take them off, and you'll need to remove the magnet on the door and drill a new hole to remount it. I'd like to give it a 5 now that it's done, but I think these problems merit it being dropped to a 4 star.
just ok for the price

If you think about it it terms of shipping being included in the price & the fact that you bought yourself a piece of granite it's not too bad. Cabinet is NOT quality by any means. The gaps you see in the doors and drawers in the display photo are present in the actual item because the face of each comes preassembled. The backerboard is barely a step of from cardboard. There are several versions of this. It comes in 3 boxes. Body always the same and then they ship the top & feet appropriate to the style you chose. Casters on original version are included in main box. Not as big as I thought as I hoped. Unless you stand it upright after removing a shelf a cookie sheet won't fit. Not quite big enough for baking on tho it's fine for a small prep area. Looks pretty for serving and holding infrequently used or light kitchen items such as dishtowels. Yes there is the chemical paint smell. Not too bad unless you open the cabinet. Directions not too terrible although a few steps say do a before b and b cannot be done if you tighten screws from step a as directed. People like it when they come but it definitely doesn't say I'm a nice keeper piece.

The granite top is beautiful! It wasn't too difficult to put together if you have 2 people. All of the hardware is separated in a neat plastic package! Watch out when popping in the doors. Once they are on they are not coming off! Also came with wheels that are not shown.

The first kitchen island you sent was damaged but the company sent another one and it is beautiful well worth the money. It was tedious to put together

I was very impressed with this product, it was just as pictured. It took my husband 2 hours to put together. The packaging was excellent and came when you said it would.
Well worth the money... quality piece..

I would really give this 5 stars on quality all around. The only issue is setup. Pros • Quality for the cost is great. • I have this in my office/showroom kitchen. We are a graphics design company and needed something to give storage, counterspace and a nice look. The quality of it is very nice. Cons • Putting it together will take quite some time. • I am not one to put things like this together, so I had a friend do it. Every individual piece needs to be put together and this will take quite some time. It took him an hour or two (though he puts office furniture together as a business everyday), it would have taken me days to put this together.
Exactly what I was looking for!

The island appeared exactly as it was online. It looks much more expensive that it was and it matched my white cabinets well. I knocked off one star for the smell the inside of the cabinet has. I suspect this was made in China and like many items that come from there, there is a slight chemical odor. I have not attempted to get rid of the smell but I though it was worth noting. I am still glad I purchased it though.

It is well mad. I like the design and it looks really good in my dining room. I will recommend this product to my friend.
Love it! Looks great in our kitchen

It looks beautiful; the granite top is gorgeous. Instructions were very easy to follow, everything was well packed and labeled. It took me a little bit less than 3 hours to mount and you definitively need someone with strong muscle to put the granite top on.
