Great cart weird smell
Jennifer E Franks from Millbrae, CA – Verified Buyer
When you order the cart it will ship in 2 different boxes which confused me because the top of the cart arrived first. I thought that's all I purchased for a time and had to call customer care to confirm that I actually got the cart. When the rest of the cart arrived (about 4-7 days after ) it took my husband and I about 2 hours to put together. We did run into some issues with a couple of the screws not fitting properly but we were lucky enough to have extra longer screws on hand. After we put it all together we started to notice this a strong odor that my husband describes as "meat smell" whenever the drawer is opened (I think it smells like wood). It's been about a month that we've had it and the smell is still there. I'm not sure what it is but I think the the best thing to do is put some newspaper in there for a bit so the coal can soak up the smell. Other then that it's been a HUGE help in the kitchen.
Perfect size for my 9'x9' kitchen
Monica from Highland Home, AL – Verified Buyer
We purchased this cart to have an extra work surface and more storage in our kitchen. We left off the towel rack on one side and pushed the narrow end to the wall, making a peninsula between our stove and pantry. It is a good, sturdy piece of furniture. We did have an issue with one of the drawers not staying on the track. It looks like the drawer is not quite wide enough to completely fill the drawer space in the cabinet, so it moves side to side on the drawer track. I put items that are less frequently used in that drawer, so it's not really an issue. The chopping block top is very pretty. It has a light coat of polyurethane on the top, so we will probably add more over time to ensure the top doesn't get stained. Two of the casters lock allowing you to keep the cart in one place until cleaning time (bonus!). Overall this is a great product. It took me and my husband about an hour to put it all together. (Four stars for the drawer issue).
Pretty Happy With This Cart
Lee from Seekonk, MA – Verified Buyer
The quality was a bit better than I expected. The parts (both cart components and hardware) were all clearly marked and the packaging was good and kept everything safe and secure during shipping. There were no missing parts, no marred or scratched parts. The top came in a seperate box. And both the top and base were double-boxed for safety. My only complaint was that two of the screw holes stripped rather easily from just tightening by hand but I was more careful as I put it together and had no other issues. I was glad there was no glue involved to risk ruining the finish and I was pleased that the drawer slides were already attached to their respective components, making drawer assembly much easier. The instructions were minimal but sufficient. Anyone that can use a screwdriver should be able to put this together. Assembly took a few hours but I was watching football while doing it so I don't have an exact time. Overall, very happy with the product.
Wonderful Kitchen Cart/Sideboard
Ruth from Oklahoma City, OK – Verified Buyer
This cart/sideboard fills the bill perfectly! Quality construction, excellent instructions and packaging. Arrived in two days. Took my husband about three hours to assemble, but no problems. Everything was there and well organized. It was well worth it! It looks beautiful in my kitchen, and has a lot of storage space. I have used the top for our coffee service, with our Keurig, Kcup holder, cream and sugar, and a collection of cups. It looks wonderful and is so handy! The drawers are deep enough to hold an assortment of kitchen towels and I have stored placemats, napkins, and runners on a center shelf below. It has freed up a surprising amount of cabinet space in my kitchen. Couldn't be happier with my purchase, and would highly recommend!
Great Kitchen Cart
Nataki from Brooklyn, NY – Verified Buyer
I love this kitchen cart. It comes together very nicely, sturdy, and strong. However my only problem with it is that it was very difficult to put together. The directions are very tricky and at times not helpful. Thank goodness for my boyfriend. For those who does not have a handyman you may want to reconsider or hire one to assemble the cart. You will not be disappointed in the end.
White Crosley Kitchen Cart with wood top
Kathleen from Valley Falls, NY – Verified Buyer
This was just what I was looking for. Shipping was fast and everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. I had no problem assembling the cart. It took me about 4 12 hours alone to put it together. Even my husband was impressed! I arranged everything out in order and got right to it. The only problem I had was locking some of the cam locks and getting the drawer sides to sit down correctly into the groves because of some of the residual wood chips in the cam holes and grooves. I put the casters with the locks on opposing sides (left-front and right-rear) and it keeps the cart from rolling just fine. Step 2 still has a misprint in the description of the step, but the diagram has the correct screw showing. The screw to be used in this step is Part 15 long screw (not 5 as shown). Other than that the instructions were very easy to follow. Love the cart and I would recommend Wayfair without hesitation.

The quality of the wood is surprisingly good for the price. Very pleased overall. The color is a near perfect match for our kitchen cabinets. Some of the screws would not stay in place during assembly. This made assembly a bit challenging in earlier stages. But it is sturdy now that it's completely assembled.
Beautiful and functional
Prateek from Bridgewater, NJ – Verified Buyer
I recently moved in to a new townhouse with a kitchen that is on the smaller size. Counter space and extra storage for pantry items was a huge concern for me. After a ton of research, I settled on this kitchen island by Alexandria. Deciding between the granite and wood countertops was a bit difficult, but after reading a few other reviews, I settled with the wood one. Many reviewers said they coated their wooden countertop and it's been holding up remarkably well. The product arrived in a timely fashion. It didn't take longer than 4-5 business days for it to show up on my doorstep (in multiple packages of course). Building it... well that took a little longer than originally expected. At the end of a long 3 hours (extremely frustrating at times), the kitchen island was complete. I have to say that this product definitely exceeded my expectations. It feels sturdy enough to hold heavy cans and the countertop is perfect for storing extra kitchen appliances on, wine, anything you can think of. The handlebar and wheels makes this the perfect serving appliance. You can prepare brunch, throw everything on top of the island, and wheel it right on over to the dining table! One thing that I would have liked more would be for the product to feel not as wobbly, but in comparison to some Ikea products I have had experience with, this kitchen island is fairly sturdy. Definitely recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a little extra pantry and countertop space. It looks beautiful in the corner of my kitchen and is also useful - what more could you ask for in a product?
Favorite thing in my kitchen

We bought this cart for more storage in my small rental kitchen. The cabinets are not big enough for any large appliances, but i can fit my crock pot and blender, and other things that size. Great quality and look. Did not take long to assemble (about an hour).

I purchased this for my luncheon area at work for added space. Drawers and cabinets are spacious and holds a lot. (coffee supplies) It's well made, love that it's mobile and can be moved and the paper towel holder and condiment rack is a bonus. Good Value and it's absolutely beautiful.
