Looks great in my new kitchen
Ellen from San Jose, CA – Verified Buyer
Since I knew about the strong chemical smell from reading the other reviews, I was not surprised by it. It has been around 4 weeks now and the scent is a lot less noticeable. Also, as noted by some of the other reviewer, the stainless steel top gets marked up very easily. Fortunately, I had my quartz guy cut a piece of quartz that I was installing on my counter top to go on top so that worked out really well. The quartz piece is heavy enough so I just lay it right on top of the stainless steel top and I don't it would move unless you push the quartz top along the side really hard. I have stainless steel appliances and sink so the stainless steel top edge that's showing under the quartz piece turned out to give it a nice accent effect. Took my husband about 2 hours to assemble but it was not difficult and all the parts were there. One warning though - we found out that the wheels leave a trail dent on our new hardwood oak flooring so we had to take off the wheels and instead put felt cushions underneath to protect the floor. Some reviewers complained about the small space but I think the storage areas are fine. I am even able to put my very larger strainer in the middle compartment. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
Solid and serviceable

It's hard to pick a cart sight unseen, but you rarely see them in stores. We picked this one because it seemed to be better quality than others, and it is. We are happy with it. For the price, we will probably use this for a few years and then pass it on to our kids if we ever decide to get a completely wooden one built to our specifications. I would have liked to have had the option not to install the spice and towel racks, but the furniture does not come with the hole fillers should you choose not to install them.
Great addition to the kitchen

Overall, I love this kitchen cart/island. It's a perfect addition to our kitchen for additional storage space. It did take two of us about two hours to assemble, but the directions were clear and easy to understand. One thing I wish was better - the drawers on the front seem like they don't open very far, by design. It's as if half the drawer is still covered at the most open point. The stainless steel is also tough to clean, but that was expected with the finish we chose. I am so happy we purchased this product. :)
Beautiful piece of furniture!

This was delivered in two separate packages which came the same day. It took my 16 yr old daughter approximately 3 hours to assemble. My 13 yr old son and I just helped out. It took my son about 1/2 hour to unpack the boxes. Anyway, when it was all said and done - it was beautiful! The only thing I didn't like is the strong smell which lasted over two weeks. I had to leave the drawers and cabinets open for about a week and even so, it still smelled a little. Other than that, I am pleased with the purchase. Everyone likes it and it doesn't take up a lot of room in my kitchen, I still have a lot of space in my kitchen. I didn't put the wheels on because I wanted it to be more stable and have the look of a built-in island. Like some of the reviews said, the stainless steel gets soiled easily and is hard to clean.

I bought this as a used item from Wayfair - though it came unassembled, brand new in the box that apparently someone had returned and saved a substantial amount of money. Well it was absolutely perfect. No marks, stains, scratches or missing pieces. I set out to do it right, doing inventory of pieces, labelled nuts and bolts and sat down to put it together. The instructions were good. I'm a 58 yo woman and only needed my son to help with some difficult to reach or heavy items. I put it together in 3 hours. It is well made, clever in its DIY construction and very nice looking. Thrilled with the whole process.

I'm quite pleased with the cart. The only disappointment is the back is a flimsy material -- not as solid as the rest. But otherwise it's quite good. It was easy enough to assemble, though it did take some time. There's an unfortunate typo in the instructions -- at a very early stage, the instruction call for using the #5 screws, when really it should be #15. If you follow the instructions step-by-step, you won't realize the mistake until you need those #5 screws later. Then you'll realize you used shorter screws where you needed longer ones, but you'd have to disassemble to get them out. All seems to be structurally sound, regardless. I do recommend this product & actually ordered a second one (the smaller companion)
beautiful addition to my kitchen... with some assembly issues
SK from Wash DC
I purchased the cherry cabinet with a stainless steel top. The quality of the exterior cherry panels is very good and the stainless steel top did not have any scratches. The assembly was fairly easy. If you are familiar with flat-pack furniture, the process was standard, using cam-locks, cambolts and Philips head screws. All the hardware came in a kind of vacuum-packed package with all the parts clearly labeled- so you don't have to search for a part when putting the cabinet together. I especially like the ease of the pin-hinges- the doors went on like a snap! There were a couple of issues that came up so I gave the item 3 stars. I did not think the screws for the crossbars E, F and G were the right length. Even after they were put in, the assembly was very wobbly until it was fortified by the exterior frame. I felt the screws should have come with anchors or a longer length. There were extra parts that look like anchors but I was not sure if they were meant to be used with these screws. Also, the top was slightly bowed - so the cambolt that was put in the center of the top to fit into the cabinet does not quite fit in place. This may be an issue that can't be helped- all the same... However, despite these issues, this seems to be a pretty sturdy piece of furniture. I have put 3 small appliances on top and filled the cabinets and the drawers. No trouble so far. It is also a beautiful piece that matches the cherry cabinets in my kitchen very well. I would purchase it again.
Nice kitchen cart

I bought this in white with the black granite top. It comes in two boxes and there are a lot of pieces for assembly. If purchased with the granite top, use two people to place it. I did it on my own and it was very very heavy. Overall, it looks really nice and very classy and doesn't take up much space. It is a good alternative if you don't have the means to do a kitchen remodel but want extra storage.
Decent product for the cost
Stephanie from Johnston, IA – Verified Buyer
Pros: Well packaged for shipping Wood quality is good Stain color was true to photos Sturdy when assembled Stainless steel top is backed by wood so it feels solid Cons: Many pieces to assemble (We went an extra step and glued all joints for extra stability.) Top drawers are only 3.5in tall inside and do not pull out all the way Relies on cam-locks to hold pieces together and one broke during assembly (We filled the joining holes full of epoxy glue to take the place of the cam-lock.) Summary: For about $350 it was the quality I expected and the assembly was not a problem with some patience.
Great - but wheels don't lock the best
Reggie from New Paris, OH – Verified Buyer
This is a great piece. It's affordable. It wasn't difficult for me to assemble (but I had another person to hold things in place while I worked). FYI, the counter-top ships separately from the unit, and they arrived on different days so don't panic when you open that first package. The wheels have a lock feature, but for some reason, they did not fully lock. If it's pushed, it will move. I have small children and thought this would be an issue, but I guess my kids know not to try to move something that looks like a cabinet, because it hasn't been an issue yet.
