Nice looking addition to my living room.
Marianne from Pittsburgh, PA– Verified Buyer
Let me start by saying this-I am a 60 year old female with no experience in assembling something this big so I was hesitant to do it myself, but the wonderful woman I spoke to in customer service said she thought I could do it myself and save the $140 assembly charge. Well, she was right! I have never felt so empowered. It took me about 3 1/2 hours. I gave the piece only 4 stars because there were some faint scratches right out of the box and the finish seems to chip easier than I had hoped, but the unit is really nice looking. Instructions are easy to follow although daunting at first. I was expecting the doors or shelves to be off center and not line up right but was wrong again. Nice piece at a great price. Very satisfied!
Good, quality product

I received this unit and assembled it just over a week ago and it is a good, quality product. The shape, appearance, and quality actually exceeded my expectations. Yes, it took about 4 solid hours to build but that was expected. The size 48" is perfect for my 46" flat-screen tv (A 50" stand would also work as the stand, in my opinion, should be slightly larger than the tv.) Just one note on the assembly... The last piece to assemble is a simple one; you have to simply snap the glass doors into place. However, make sure you do so with the magnet on the top! Stupidly, I snapped the pieces into place with the magnets on the bottom so I had to remove the magnetic plates and put them where they had to go, because once the doors are "snapped in" there is no turning back! Just a friendly word of caution...

This TV stand was exactly what I was looking for. For the price you can not beat the quality, finish and construction of this product.

Its really great quality, very thick and was quite easy to put together. My wife had the first half put together by the time I got home.
very nice piece

The paneled doors and glass-front doors both look very nice and hang straight. Although the outer cabinets are narrow, they are deep enough to store things behind a stack of DVDs. The assembly was straightforward, but as is usual for self-assembled pieces, there were one or two holes offset that left the fit not quite perfect.
Nice looking and functional

We purchased this corner unit to place our new flat screen tv on in our family room. It looks beautiful, functions as promised, and Im sure we will enjoy it for many years. It did take some time to assemble, and you do need to read the directions carefully to make sure that you have the pieces lined up in the right direction... we learned that the hard way, but we are creative and were able to improvise. It is made of composite material and will likely be prone to dings, but for the price and what we are using it for, we are happy with the purchase.

All my worries about purchasing a furniture item online, for assembly upon arrival, were unnecessary. I have only positive comments regarding the service and product. The local stores just did not have a TV stand/cabinet of the size and style we wanted. We found this product by surfing the Internet. The product arrived in about one week. That alone was amazing. It was very well packaged and without any damage. The instructions, unlike most instructions by foreign manufacturers, were easy to follow and accurate. I was very careful to follow the instructions and not to make mistakes so the assembly took about 2 hours. The process was really easy and the final product looks great. It is a good value for final purchase price. This was a good experience.
Couldn't be happier

This is my first purchase from this site and I love it! It arrived quickly and in good shape. It wasn't difficult to put together and all the holes lined up perfectly. It is made from good quality materials and it looks really great. The color is rich and beautiful and the glass in the doors is heavy and crystal clear. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture. The doors open and close smoothly and have a magnet closure. All I needed to assemble it was a Phillips screwdriver. And I found it easy to assemble, all by myself, and I am a 105 lb woman--none of it was strenuous. I highly recommend this piece of furniture, you won't regret it.

The cobalt black finish is just right. It come in several boxes, so don't worry about the weight. Our surround sound receiver fits perfectly in the open space, and the glass doors hide the Blue Ray and Direct TV components. Nice storage for DVD's behind the doors. It is a beautiful companion piece to the Alexandria Wine Bar.
Looks much better than the picture!

I am so pleased with this purchase! I have my Bose on the open shelf, and my DVD player and Wii on the shelves behind the glass. The side cabinets hold my CDs and movies!
