I searched for several months for the perfect crib, and fell in love with the styling of this one. I wasn't sure about the color, because I was initially looking for something black or very dark brown. The actual color can look a medium to dark brown in the sunlight but very dark chocolate in dimmer light. It ended up going perfectly with a dresser a we got, and the different shades of brown in the woodgrain are beautiful...and looks very rich with our black and white crib set. This feels like a very high-quality piece. It was easy to assemble and adjust the mattress height. It also feels very solid and sturdy. Great finishing and detail. There are many other less expensive cribs out there, but when you consider that this can be converted into a full size bed (with the optional rails), and the many years this may be in your home, it is definitely worth the splurge."..."  Read more

This is a beautiful crib. We opened the box and it was nice to smell wood and not chemicals. It is a simple, modern design that does not break the bank like so many other modern cribs that are two to three times the cost of the Pali-Imperia 4-1 crib.
