I needed a crib not only to be safe and suitable for my 6mth old grandson but suitable for me and my lifestyle. This crib was PERFECT for both. I opted for a crib rather than a pack'n play because I wanted something more sturdy and longer lasting for when he gets older and heavier. The height adjustment is wonderful as it doubles as a bassinet and then lowers for when he starts to sit, stand and pull himself up. This crib is quick and easy to assemble, and easy to fold up and put away if I ever have guests stay over night. I also like that it's not a full size crib (perfect for smaller rooms and condos) it fits in any where, and I like the 1" mattress which is firm enough so he can't sink in (all babies like firm mattresses, they feel secure) I also purchased a 3" mattress for when he gets a little older. His mother could never understand why he would sleep at my place but not so much at home and I told her babies like to be wrapped and feel secure). This crib is roomy enough for him to move around but also cozy enough for him to feel safe and secure (not like the bigger cribs). I also purchased a breathable crib surround, not only is it safer than those padded ones (smothering) but it keeps his arms and legs from going through the slats if he moves around when he's asleep. We live in a one bedroom apartment and wanted to keep the baby in our bedroom - so we were looking for a small scale crib that would work for us. We ended up selecting this one because of its size and the fact that we can fold it up and store it during the day. It is very easy to fold. It comes with a mattress but it is only 1" thick and kind of cheap so I purchased a thicker mattress from the same company. The mattress does have a waterproof cover but I purchased a couple of mattress pads to go over it because I didn't like the plastic-y cover of the mattress. It was hard to find sheets [...] so I bought sheets for a play yard and altered them to make them smaller for this cribI was looking for something contemporary looking as I find most cribs too fussy looking and this one was the best choice for price and style (I also looked at the Bloom crib - better looking but too small) I wish it didn't have the curved detail at the head and foot.Because of the folding design, the crib is not super sturdy but I don't plan to keep our kid in it for more than a year."..."  Read more

I looked for months for two modern cribs for twin girls and finally decided on the Modo 3 in 1 crib in white/espresso. The crib is beautiful with modern, clean lines and a very high-end look. We purchased this crib for two reasons. 1) the low cost 2) the round spindles. I was dead-set on a crib with round rails, everything now seems to be a weird square and to me just doesn't seem quality (which is funny that I bought one of the cheapest cribs on the market!). We haven't put the crib together yet because the baby is not due for another 5 months. We'll put together the room next month. However we did peak inside the box and the quality looks good, it appears to be all real wood and no odor. We ordered this in white. The nursery itself will have a mid-century modern feel to it - I think this crib will be a great addition as it has a cool vintage look. I've seen it used a lot of in professionally designed rooms (although i bet this one is a knockoff given the price but still has the same look) so I'm excited to get the room set-up and I'm sure this will be a keeper!"..."  Read more
