We have the DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 for our daughter, so choosing this crib for our son was a no-brainer. We only switched from Kalani to Porter because the wide center bands on the Porter crib seemed slightly more masculine to me. These cribs are wonderful, and consistently have some of the highest reviews for their price range. They are versatile, strong, and hold up to our monkey children. Our DD is currently using hers as a toddler bed, and it has been great for 2.5 yrs. The ONLY wish I have is that the wood werent so soft. The cribs and the dressers mar fairly easily. They are still great, but scratches show a lot, especially with the dark colors like the Espresso and Cherry. That is my only reason for not giving 5 stars."..."  Read more

This full-size baby crib is great for grandma's house, motel room, RV, or any place that needs a full size crib temporarily. It folds well and stores in a closet. The metal frame makes it strong and reliable. This crib could be used full-time in a nursery if you wished. It does not have drop sides, but most travel cribs do not. It is probably the strongest travel crib on the market. No assembly required. Just fold out, push casters in, drop in posture board, and add a mattress of your choice. I have purchased two in the past year. Great product! The portable crib, which is a little smaller, is built the same way. We purchased this crib for two reasons. 1) the low cost 2) the round spindles. I was dead-set on a crib with round rails, everything now seems to be a weird square and to me just doesn't seem quality (which is funny that I bought one of the cheapest cribs on the market!). We haven't put the crib together yet because the baby is not due for another 5 months. We'll put together the room next month. However we did peak inside the box and the quality looks good, it appears to be all real wood and no odor. We ordered this in white. The nursery itself will have a mid-century modern feel to it - I think this crib will be a great addition as it has a cool vintage look. I've seen it used a lot of in professionally designed rooms (although i bet this one is a knockoff given the price but still has the same look) so I'm excited to get the room set-up and I'm sure this will be a keeper!"..."  Read more

In response to the last review....all babies will bite all cribs and leave a mark. I am expecting my 4th child and have bought very expensive and inexpensive cribs.
