I'm using this convertible crib for my 1st son but I bought it for my second son (coming in a few weeks!). I needed another double bed for that second baby and therefore I decided to go for a convertible crib that would do longer. For the price, I don't think you can get any better than this. We live in a one bedroom apartment and wanted to keep the baby in our bedroom - so we were looking for a small scale crib that would work for us. We ended up selecting this one because of its size and the fact that we can fold it up and store it during the day. It is very easy to fold. It comes with a mattress but it is only 1" thick and kind of cheap so I purchased a thicker mattress from the same company. The mattress does have a waterproof cover but I purchased a couple of mattress pads to go over it because I didn't like the plastic-y cover of the mattress. It was hard to find sheets [...] so I bought sheets for a play yard and altered them to make them smaller for this cribI was looking for something contemporary looking as I find most cribs too fussy looking and this one was the best choice for price and style (I also looked at the Bloom crib - better looking but too small) I wish it didn't have the curved detail at the head and foot.Because of the folding design, the crib is not super sturdy but I don't plan to keep our kid in it for more than a year."..."  Read more

I looked for months for two modern cribs for twin girls and finally decided on the Modo 3 in 1 crib in white/espresso. The crib is beautiful with modern, clean lines and a very high-end look. The crib is sturdy and was easy to assemble. I'm happy I chose these cribs instead of the pricier versions - as these cribs look and feel as if they were 3x the price."..."  Read more

We have the DaVinci Kalani 4-in-1 for our daughter, so choosing this crib for our son was a no-brainer. We only switched from Kalani to Porter because the wide center bands on the Porter crib seemed slightly more masculine to me. These cribs are wonderful, and consistently have some of the highest reviews for their price range. They are versatile, strong, and hold up to our monkey children. Our DD is currently using hers as a toddler bed, and it has been great for 2.5 yrs. The ONLY wish I have is that the wood werent so soft. The cribs and the dressers mar fairly easily. They are still great, but scratches show a lot, especially with the dark colors like the Espresso and Cherry. That is my only reason for not giving 5 stars."..."  Read more
